i have two question please.
first is there any puppet/doll factory you know in japan or china where you make special order a certain puppet from 2d pic?
second when i went to japan this year, i was shocked about how hentai and yaoi are everywhere esp in normal markets. i thought it's so wrong since kids can buy it. so my question is... is there a reason why they put adult stuffs in place where everyone can see it and reach it?
i hope there's a benefit for it... like maybe if men keep watching hentai all the time they'll get less effective when girls wear short skirt? XD
anyway japan is paradise!!

My mom's coming to visit Japan in February, and we're going to Osaka together for a night. I was wondering if anyone knew of any relatively inexpensive ryokan in the area? Uhm, bonus points if they're used to foreigners and speak at least a little English, since my Japanese isn't very good, and nearish to a train station (or at least has decent directions/map available online).
Maybe I'm hoping for something that doesn't exist, but I'd like my mom to see/stay in a more traditionally ~Japanese~ establishment than my tiny guest house and my friend's dorm, where we're lodging for most of the trip.

I've only visited once for a homestay, but...has anyone seen any of these old karaoke machines with really dorky English lyrics to their songs? Specifically, there was this one titled, "WE ARE THE CHAMP" that I kept cracking up at because I think the chorus was something like "SOCCER SOCCER SOCCER SOCCER FOOTBALL FOOTBALL FOOTBALL FOOTBALL".
I want to identify it so I know which one I heard when I visited Toyooka. I somehow get the feeling there's more where that came from.
